A Magical Morning
We went on a sunrise tour. Met our guide at 5:45 and drove about 30 minutes to launching site. It was just my husband and I and our wonderful guide Juan Carlos. Took a short boat ride to get to the kayaks. We basically had the lagoon and mangrove to ourselves except for the multitudes of birds and occasional iguana. Paddled around for a few hours and learned about the ecosystem and took lots of photos. Capped off the morning with a beachfront Oaxacan breakfast. Totally recommend this company. A bit more expensive than some- but well planned experience that was essentially a private tour and excellent guide.
