Great day trip to Puerto Escondido from Oaxaca. My family was looking to have one day of relaxation at the beach, and Paul helped make that seamless! We also had breakfast at a great location and checked out another area in the late afternoon with lots of cute eateries. Paul was a friendly guide, and he gave us lots of recommendations for our Oaxaca trip. Recommend this tour with Paul!

Surf Lessons in Puerto Escondido for beginners

Amazing experience! Super fun

I had such a great experience with The Surfing Tribe in Puerto Escondido. I booked 5 surf lessons and honestly felt comfortable from the very beginning. The instructors were patient, friendly, and explained everything clearly, especially ocean safety and timing the waves. What I appreciated most was that the groups stayed small, so it never felt rushed or overcrowded like some other surf schools nearby. We surfed at Carrizalillo beach because the conditions were perfect for beginners, and I actually managed to catch a few waves during my first lesson. The instructors were super helpful and fun at all times! The whole experience felt very authentic and relaxed while still being professional and organized. If you’re looking for surf lessons in Puerto Escondido, especially as a beginner, I definitely recommend The Surfing Tribe, and will take more lessons when back in Puerto.
