Car
If you are traveling by car, make your way to the town of Palenque, which is approximately 60 kilometers (37 miles) from Cascadas de Agua Azul. From Palenque, take the federal highway 199 towards the town of San Cristóbal de las Casas. After about 29 kilometers (18 miles), you will see signs for 'Cascadas de Agua Azul' directing you to turn left and follow the road for approximately 10 kilometers (6 miles) to reach the entrance of the waterfalls. Please note there is an entrance fee of approximately 30 MXN per person.

From Palenque, you can take a bus to the Cascadas de Agua Azul. Head to the ADO bus terminal in Palenque and look for buses heading to 'Cascadas de Agua Azul.' The journey takes about 1 hour and costs roughly 50-80 MXN. Upon arrival, you may need to walk a short distance to the entrance of the waterfalls. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips.
