Bus
From the main square of Taxco (Plaza Borda), walk to the nearby bus station located at Avenida de los Plateros. Look for the buses heading toward Miacatlán. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Miacatlán bus station, you can take a taxi or walk about 15 minutes to the Site Museum Xochicalco, following the signs towards Carretera Federal Xochicalco.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hail a taxi from the main square in Taxco. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand. The drive to the Site Museum Xochicalco will take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to take you to 'Carretera Federal Xochicalco, Tetlama S/N'.
Walking
Although walking from Taxco to Site Museum Xochicalco is quite a long trek (approximately 10 kilometers), if you're feeling adventurous, you can start by walking down Avenida de los Plateros towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach the outskirts of Taxco, where you will find the path to Miacatlán. It's advisable to carry water and wear comfortable shoes for this journey.
