Public Transportation
From the city center of Tijuana, head to the Tijuana bus terminal located at Terminal de Autobuses de Tijuana. Take any bus heading towards the San Ysidro border crossing. Once you arrive at the border, you will need to go through customs. After crossing into the United States, follow the signs to the San Ysidro Trolley Station (it's a short walk, about 10 minutes). Take the Blue Line trolley heading towards Downtown San Diego and get off at the 'America Plaza' station. At the America Plaza station, transfer to the Orange Line trolley towards 'El Cajon' and get off at the 'Santa Fe Depot' station. From there, you can walk to the Gaslamp Quarter and catch a bus (Route 992) that goes to Coronado. Get off at the Coronado Ferry Landing. Finally, from the Ferry Landing, you can walk or take a local shuttle to Coronado Shores Beach.
