If you are in downtown Tijuana, head to Avenida Revolución, which is the main street and a popular tourist area. Walk west towards the border crossing into San Diego. Follow the signs for 'San Ysidro' and cross the border at the San Ysidro Port of Entry. Once you cross the border, you will be in San Diego, California.

After crossing the border into San Diego, you can take the San Diego Trolley from the San Ysidro station. Board the Blue Line trolley heading towards 'Old Town'. Get off at the 'H Street' station, which is a short ride. From there, you can catch the bus route 901 towards Coronado.
