  • Public Transportation - Bus

    From Tijuana, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal de Autobuses de Pasajeros de Tijuana (TAP) located at Boulevard Agua Caliente. Once there, buy a ticket for a bus heading to San Diego. Buses run frequently throughout the day. After crossing the border, you will arrive at the San Diego bus terminal. From the terminal, take the MTS Trolley (Blue Line) towards UC San Diego. Get off at the 'H Street' station and transfer to the 'Orange Line' towards El Cajon. Get off at the 'Santee Town Center' station. From there, you can use a rideshare service or a taxi to reach The Dunes.

    If you're already in downtown Tijuana, you can walk to the Tijuana-San Diego border crossing at San Ysidro. Once you cross the border, you are in San Ysidro, California. From there, head to the San Ysidro trolley station and take the Blue Line towards Downtown San Diego. Get off at the 'America Plaza' station.
