From the central area of Tijuana, head to the Tijuana-Tecate bus terminal located on Avenida Revolución. Look for the 'San Diego' buses that leave regularly. Buy a ticket to San Diego and inform the driver that you want to get off at the San Ysidro border crossing. Once you arrive at the border, proceed through customs and enter the United States.

Walking
After crossing the border into San Diego, you will find yourself at the San Ysidro Plaza. From there, walk to the San Ysidro Transit Center and board the Blue Line Trolley towards 'Old Town.' Get off at the 'Hillcrest' station. Once you exit the trolley, you will be on Normal Street. Walk north along Normal Street for about 5 minutes until you reach 3960 Normal St, where Hillcrest Farmers Market is located.

Instead of taking the trolley, after crossing into San Diego, you can catch a bus from the San Ysidro Transit Center. Look for the 120 bus towards 'Downtown San Diego.' Ride the bus until you reach the 'University Ave & 10th Ave' stop. From there, transfer to the 7 bus towards 'Hillcrest.' Get off at the stop closest to 3960 Normal St.
