Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From Tijuana, head to the Tijuana Bus Station located at Avenida Revolución. You can take a taxi or walk to get there. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket to San Ysidro, California. The bus ride typically takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the San Ysidro border crossing, follow the signs to walk across the border into the United States. After crossing the border, you will reach the San Ysidro Trolley Station.

  • Trolley

    At the San Ysidro Trolley Station, board the Blue Line Trolley heading towards downtown San Diego. Stay on the trolley for approximately 30 minutes, and get off at the City College Station. From there, transfer to the Orange Line Trolley, heading towards El Cajon, and get off at the 25th Street Station.

  • Public Transport / Walking

    After exiting the Orange Line Trolley at 25th Street, walk to the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance. Head northwest on 25th Street toward K Street, then turn left onto K Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with 30th Street. Turn right onto 30th Street and continue walking until you reach Zoo Drive. The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance will be on your left at 2920 Zoo Dr, San Diego, CA 92101. The total walking distance from the trolley station is approximately 1.5 miles.
