From central Tulum, head south on Avenida Tulum towards the beach. When you reach the intersection with Avenida Coba, take a left. Continue straight until you reach the fork in the road, then stay right onto Boca Paila Road. Follow this road for about 10 to 15 minutes. The road will lead you to Laguna Boca Paila, which is situated on your left side. Look for the signs indicating the lagoon.

To reach Laguna Boca Paila by taxi, head to any taxi stand in Tulum town or flag down a taxi on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Laguna Boca Paila. The ride should take approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare before getting in, as taxis in Tulum typically do not have meters.

If you're near the beach, start from the Tulum Ruins. Walk down towards the beach and follow the shoreline to the south. Continue walking along the beach path until you reach Boca Paila Road. You can take a collectivo (shared van) from the main collectivo station in Tulum. Look for a van heading towards Punta Allen or Sian Ka'an. Ask the driver to drop you off at Laguna Boca Paila.
