Bicycle
If you are starting from the Tulum town center, rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops nearby. Head south on Avenida Tulum until you reach the intersection with Avenida Coba. Turn left on Avenida Coba and continue straight. You will ride past various shops and cafes. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the entrance to the Zona Hotelera. Continue straight until you see signs for Oficina del INAH. It will be on your right.

From the Tulum town center, walk south on Avenida Tulum. It’s a straight path that will eventually lead you to Avenida Coba. Turn left onto Avenida Coba and continue walking. After approximately 30-40 minutes, you will reach the Zona Hotelera. Look for signs directing you to Oficina del INAH, which will be located on your right.

Head to the nearest colectivo station, which is located on Avenida Tulum. Take a colectivo that is headed towards the beach (Zona Hotelera). The ride will take about 15 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Oficina del INAH or ask them to drop you off near the main entrance of the Zona Hotelera.
