Walking
If you are starting from the Tulum Town center, head south on Avenida Tulum towards the beach. You will pass by various shops and restaurants. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Avenida Cobá. Turn left onto Avenida Cobá and walk for about 1 km until you reach the beach access point. Follow the signs for Playa Tulum. Once you reach the beach, walk along the shore heading south. Keep an eye out for a wooden sign that reads 'The heart on the beach'. It should be about a 15-20 minute walk along the beach from the main access point.

Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle from various shops around Tulum. Start from the Town center and head south on Avenida Tulum, then turn left onto Avenida Cobá. Continue until you reach the beach access. Once you reach Playa Tulum, ride along the beach path heading south. The heart on the beach is a short distance down the shore, and you should see it marked with a wooden sign. The entire trip should take around 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.

Public Transit (Collectivo)
From the Tulum Town center, take a collectivo (shared van) heading towards Playa del Carmen. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at the closest stop for the beach. The driver will likely stop at a central point where you can access the beach. Once you disembark, walk towards the beach and turn south. Walk along the shore until you see the wooden sign for 'The heart on the beach'. The total travel time will be around 30-40 minutes.
