Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you're starting from downtown Detroit, walk to the nearest bus stop on Woodward Avenue. Take the QLine streetcar heading to the north. Ride until you reach the stop at West Grand Boulevard. Here, transfer to the SMART bus route 16, which will take you directly to the Motown Museum. Get off at the stop on Berry Gordy Jr. Boulevard, and the museum will be a short walk from there.

• Walking

  If you are in the vicinity of the Detroit Riverwalk, you can walk toward the west along Jefferson Avenue. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Grand Boulevard. Turn left onto Grand Boulevard and follow it until you reach Berry Gordy Jr. Boulevard. The Motown Museum will be located on your right at 2648 Berry Gordy Jr. Boulevard.

• Rideshare (Uber/Lyft)

  For a convenient option, you can use a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft.   If you prefer cycling, there are bike rental services available throughout Detroit. Start from campus martius park and head west on Fort Street until you reach Grand Boulevard. Turn left on Grand Boulevard and continue until you reach Berry Gordy Jr. Boulevard. The Motown Museum will be on your right.
