    If you are near the Detroit city center, you can take the QLINE streetcar from any station along the Woodward Avenue route. Board the QLINE heading north and get off at the Mack Avenue stop. From there, walk east on Mack Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach John R Street. Turn left on John R Street and continue walking until you reach the Michigan Science Center at 5020 John R St.

  • Public Transportation - People Mover

    Take the Detroit People Mover, which is a convenient elevated train system. Board the train at any of the downtown stations and ride it to the Greektown station. From Greektown, walk north on St. Antoine Street until you reach Mack Avenue. Turn left on Mack Avenue and walk until you reach John R Street. Turn right on John R Street and continue until you arrive at the Michigan Science Center.

  • Biking

    If you prefer biking, there are bike-sharing options available in Detroit. Start by finding a bike at a nearby station. From the downtown area, head north on Woodward Avenue and then take a left on Mack Avenue. Continue on Mack Avenue until you reach John R Street.
