If you are in the heart of Midtown Detroit, you can easily walk to the George Ladve House located at 269 Edmund Pl. Start from the Detroit Institute of Arts, which is a well-known landmark. Exit the museum and head north on Woodward Ave towards Mack Ave. Continue walking on Woodward Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach Mack Ave. At Mack Ave, turn left and head west for about 0.3 miles. Then, take a right onto Edmund Pl. The George Ladve House will be on your left after a short walk.

Public Transit (Bus)
For those preferring public transit, take the QLINE streetcar service. Board the QLINE at the nearest station, which can be found on Woodward Ave. Ride the QLINE northbound towards the end of the line, which is at the New Center area. Get off at the Mack Ave stop. From there, walk west on Mack Ave for about 0.3 miles until you reach Edmund Pl. Turn right onto Edmund Pl and the George Ladve House will be on your left. Note: A one-way fare on the QLINE is $1.50.
