Getting There

Walking
If you are in downtown Bay City, begin by heading east on Washington Avenue towards the Saginaw River. When you reach the river, turn right and follow the river walkway. Continue along the river until you reach the intersection with the M-13 North bridge. Cross the bridge and follow M-13 (also known as Center Avenue) north for about 3 miles. Once you reach the Kawkawlin area, look for signs directing you to Tobico Marsh Big Loop. The Observation Tower 2 is located within the park area and is easily visible from the main path.

From downtown Bay City, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Start by heading east on Washington Avenue, then take the bike path along the Saginaw River. Ride north along the river until you reach the M-13 North bridge. Cross the bridge and continue north on M-13 (Center Avenue) for approximately 3 miles. Look for the entrance to Tobico Marsh Big Loop on your left. The Observation Tower 2 is located within the park, and there are bike racks available near the tower.
