Walking
If you are starting from downtown Holland, head south on River Ave towards 8th St. Continue on River Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach 16th St. Turn left onto 16th St and walk for about 0.3 miles. You will see the entrance to Windmill Island Gardens on your right. Enter the park and continue walking straight towards De Zwaan, which is located at the end of the pathway.
Bicycle
From downtown Holland, you can rent a bike from a local bike rental service. Head south on River Ave and continue for about 0.5 miles. Make a left onto 16th St and ride for approximately 0.3 miles. You will find Windmill Island Gardens on your right. Park your bike at the designated bike racks near the entrance and walk towards De Zwaan, which is situated at the end of the garden path.
Public Transit
Check the local bus schedule for the 'Holland City' bus route. Board the bus at any of the stops in downtown Holland heading towards 16th St. Get off at the stop closest to Windmill Island Gardens (the stop is labeled for the park). From there, walk into the park and follow the main path straight to De Zwaan, located at the end of the walkway.
