    If you are in downtown Lansing, you can easily walk to the Michigan History Center. Start from the corner of S Washington Square and W Michigan Ave. Head west on W Michigan Ave until you reach S Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Turn left onto S Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and continue walking until you reach W Kalamazoo St. Turn right onto W Kalamazoo St, and you will find the Michigan History Center at 702 W Kalamazoo St on your left side.

    To reach the Michigan History Center using public transit, first find a nearby CATA bus stop. Take the #1 or #6 bus heading towards downtown Lansing. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of S Martin Luther King Jr Blvd and W Kalamazoo St. From there, walk west on W Kalamazoo St for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Michigan History Center, located at 702 W Kalamazoo St.
