Walking
If you are starting from downtown Lansing, head east on Michigan Avenue toward the Michigan State Capitol. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Grand Avenue. Turn left onto Grand Avenue and walk north until you reach the intersection with Saginaw Street. Turn right and head east on Saginaw Street. After a few blocks, you will find the CATA bus stop. Take the CATA Route 30 bus toward East Lansing. Get off at the stop near the MSU campus, close to the intersection of Harrison Road and Shaw Lane. From there, walk north along Harrison Road until you reach the entrance to Michigan State University. Follow the signs to the Spartan Statue, which will be on your right near the center of campus.

For those who prefer biking, start in downtown Lansing and head east on Michigan Avenue. Turn left onto Grand Avenue and then onto Saginaw Street heading east. You will find bike lanes along these routes. Continue until you reach the CATA bus terminal and then follow the bike path along the river. This path will take you to the MSU campus. Once you get to the campus, follow the paths to the Spartan Statue, which is located near the center of the campus.
