If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to Northport, MI. From Traverse City, take M-22 North for approximately 30 miles. Continue onto N. Bayshore Drive for another 5 miles. Keep an eye out for Lighthouse Point Road on your right. Turn onto Lighthouse Point Road, and follow it for about 1 mile to reach Grand Traverse Lighthouse at 15500 Lighthouse Point Rd. Parking is available on-site. Note that there may be a small entrance fee to the lighthouse museum.
Public Transportation
For those relying on public transportation, take a bus from Traverse City to Northport. The bus service is provided by the Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA).
