Walking
If you are starting from the Main Street area of Mackinac Island, head east on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Market Street. Turn left onto Market Street and continue straight. As you walk, you will see several shops and cafes. Keep following Market Street as it curves to the right and becomes Cadotte Avenue. Continue on Cadotte Avenue until you reach the entrance of Fort Mackinac. You can choose to take a quick detour to explore the fort if time allows. After visiting the fort, continue along Cadotte Avenue. Look for signs pointing towards Arch Rock. The path will begin to incline as you approach Arch Rock. Follow the signs leading you up the hill, and you will soon see the iconic limestone arch rising before you.
