Getting There

  • Public Transportation

    From downtown Marquette, walk to the Marquette Transit Authority (MTA) bus stop at the corner of Washington Street and Third Street. Take the MTA Route 1 bus heading towards the Marquette City Hall. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at the intersection of M-28 and Wright Street. Exit the bus here. From this stop, follow M-28 East on foot for about 1.5 miles. Lakenenland will be on your left at 2800 M-28 East. The walk is along a sidewalk, making it safe and accessible.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can take the bike path that runs along the shores of Lake Superior. Start at the Marquette bike path near the Presque Isle Park entrance. Follow the path towards the south, connecting with the bike lane on Lakeshore Boulevard. Continue until you reach the intersection of M-28. Turn right onto M-28 East and bike for about 2 miles. Lakenenland will be on your left at 2800 M-28 East. Be mindful of traffic as you approach the sculpture park.
