Public Transportation - Bus
If you are starting from downtown Muskegon, you can take the Muskegon Area Transit System (MATS) bus. Head to the nearest bus stop and board the Route 1 bus towards the Lakes Mall. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop at Marquette Avenue and Laketon Avenue. From there, walk north on Marquette Avenue for about 0.5 miles. The Muskegon Railroad Historical Society will be on your left at 2371 Marquette Ave.

If you are already near the Shoreline Drive area, you can walk to the Muskegon Railroad Historical Society. Head east on Shoreline Drive towards the intersection with Marquette Avenue. Turn left onto Marquette Avenue and walk north for about 1 mile. The historical society will be on your left at 2371 Marquette Ave. It should take approximately 20 minutes by foot.

Start from downtown Muskegon and head south on Western Avenue until you reach Shoreline Drive.
