    Walking

    Start at the center of Saugatuck, near the Saugatuck-Douglas Historical Society at 735 Park St. Walk south on Park St towards Water St. Turn left onto Water St and walk until you reach the Saugatuck Harbor. Continue walking along Water St until you reach the intersection with Lake St. Turn right onto Lake St and walk towards the south. Lake St will become Blue Star Hwy (M-89). Follow Blue Star Hwy south until you reach the intersection with 138th Ave. Turn left onto 138th Ave and continue walking until you reach the entrance to Saugatuck Dunes State Park at 6575 138th Ave.

    Biking

    If you have access to a bike, start at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts at 400 Culver St. Head north on Culver St towards Water St. Turn left onto Water St and follow it until it intersects with Lake St. Turn right on Lake St, which becomes Blue Star Hwy (M-89). Ride south on Blue Star Hwy until you reach the intersection with 138th Ave. Turn left onto 138th Ave and continue biking until you arrive at the entrance of Saugatuck Dunes State Park at 6575 138th Ave.
