    Start your journey at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts located at 400 Culver St, Saugatuck, MI. Head south on Culver St for about two blocks until you reach the intersection with Lake St. Turn left onto Lake St and continue walking until you reach the Saugatuck-Douglas Historical Society. From there, follow the signs to the nearby nature trails.

    If you have a bike, you can start at the Saugatuck Harbor Natural Area on Blue Star Highway. Cycle south on Blue Star Hwy (M-89) for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with 118th Ave. Turn left onto 118th Ave, and continue a short distance until you see the entrance to Tallmadge Woods Nature Preserve on your right.
