If you are starting from downtown Traverse City, head east on E Front St towards S Park St. Continue on E Front St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Union St. Turn right onto Union St and walk straight for about 0.2 miles. The park entrance will be on your left. Look for the signage indicating Union Street Dam Park.

From the Traverse City waterfront, bike north on the Tart Trail. Follow the trail for about 1 mile until you reach E Front St. Turn left onto E Front St and continue for about 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Union St and follow it for about 0.2 miles. The entrance to Union Street Dam Park will be on your left.

If you are near the Downtown Traverse City area, you can take the Bayline bus (check the local schedule for times). Get off at the stop near E Front St and Union St. Walk east on E Front St, then turn right onto Union St. Continue walking for about 0.2 miles.
