Walking
If you're at the Traverse City Commons, start by heading south on S Union St. Follow S Union St for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by shops and local eateries along the way. Continue straight, and Lay Park will be on your right at 301 S Union St. It's a small park with a nice art statue and a water fountain.
Biking
From the downtown area, take the Boardman Lake Trail heading south. Follow the trail which leads you through scenic views of the lake. After approximately 1 mile, merge onto S Union St. Continue on S Union St for another 0.3 miles until you see Lay Park on your left at 301 S Union St.
Public Transit
If you are near the downtown area, catch the local TART bus at the nearest stop. Take the bus towards the south route. Get off at the stop closest to S Union St. After exiting, walk south on S Union St for about 0.2 miles. Lay Park will be on your left at 301 S Union St.
