If you're starting from downtown Traverse City, head east on E Front St toward Park St. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E State St. Turn left onto E State St and continue for about 0.3 miles. When you reach the intersection with 8th St, cross the street and continue straight onto E 8th St. After a short walk, you will reach Boardman River Deck, which is located near the Boardman River.

Start by heading north on Union St. After a few blocks, turn right onto E Front St. Continue biking east for about 0.5 miles, then turn left onto E State St. After approximately 0.3 miles, turn left onto 8th St. Follow 8th St until you see signs for Boardman River Deck, which is a popular spot along the river.

If you prefer public transportation, check the local bus schedule for the Bayline route. Board the bus at any designated stop in Traverse City heading towards the East Side. Once on the bus, ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for the Boardman River area.
