Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and head southeast on H-58 towards Munising. Continue on H-58 for approximately 12 miles until you reach Munising. Once in Munising, turn left onto M-28, then take the first right onto Bell Ave. Horseshoe Falls & Gift Shop will be located on your right at 602 Bell Ave. There is no entrance fee to access the gift shop, but you may want to consider any purchases you make inside.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, check for local bus services that operate within the Munising area. As of the latest information, there may be limited services available, so it is advisable to confirm the schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Munising, you can reach Horseshoe Falls & Gift Shop by either walking (approximately 1 mile from the bus stop) or calling a local taxi service to take you directly to 602 Bell Ave. Be prepared for potential taxi fees which typically range from $10 to $15.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and have access to a bicycle, you can bike from the main areas of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Take the H-58 road towards Munising and follow the scenic route. It’s about a 12-mile ride, so be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks. Once you reach Munising, turn onto M-28, then right onto Bell Ave, and you will find Horseshoe Falls & Gift Shop at 602 Bell Ave.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby in Munising, you can walk to Horseshoe Falls & Gift Shop. From the center of Munising, head west on E Munising Ave, then take a left onto N Main St. Follow this road as it turns into Bell Ave. The shop is located at 602 Bell Ave. This walk is approximately 1 mile and is a great way to enjoy the local scenery along the way.
