Walking
If you are starting from Canal Park, head north along the Lakewalk, which runs parallel to the waterfront. Follow the path until you reach the intersection at 5th Avenue West. Turn left onto 5th Avenue West and continue until you reach the intersection with N Pier. The Duluth Shipping Pier will be at the end of N Pier.

Public Transit
From downtown Duluth, you can take the DTA bus route that goes towards Canal Park. Board the bus at a nearby bus stop and ride until you reach the Canal Park stop. Once you disembark, walk north along the Lakewalk or head towards 5th Avenue West. Follow the same path as described above, turning left onto 5th Avenue West and continuing to N Pier.

Bicycling
If you have access to a bicycle, you can bike from downtown Duluth. Start by heading towards Canal Park via the Lakewalk bike path. Once you reach Canal Park, continue north on the bike path along the waterfront. When you reach 5th Avenue West, turn left and cycle until you reach N Pier. The Duluth Shipping Pier will be at the end.
