Walking
If you are starting from the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center (DECC), head west on Railroad Street towards the waterfront. Continue straight onto the Lakewalk, a scenic pedestrian path along Lake Superior. Follow the Lakewalk for about 1 mile, enjoying the views of the lake and the surrounding parks. Uncle Harvey's Mausoleum will be located along the Lakewalk, approximately halfway between the DECC and Leif Erikson Park. Look for a small, unique structure situated near the shoreline, marked with a plaque.
Public Transit
From the Duluth Transit Authority's downtown hub, board the bus route that heads towards Canal Park. Ride the bus until you reach the stop near the Lakewalk. Once you disembark, walk east towards the Lakewalk. Follow the path along the lake for about 10-15 minutes until you arrive at Uncle Harvey's Mausoleum. The mausoleum is visible from the path, so keep an eye out for the distinctive structure as you approach.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the rental shops in downtown Duluth. After renting a bike, head towards the Lakewalk by following the bike paths leading to the waterfront. Once on the Lakewalk, ride west for about 1 mile. Uncle Harvey's Mausoleum is located along this route, and you can easily spot it from the path. Be sure to park your bike in the designated areas nearby to explore the mausoleum on foot.
