Walking
If you're starting from the Duluth Public Library located at 520 W Superior St, head east on Superior Street. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach N 2nd Ave E. Turn left onto N 2nd Ave E and continue walking until you reach the intersection with East Michigan Street. Gichi-ode' Akiing will be on your right.

From the Duluth Transit Authority bus stop at 5th Ave W & Superior St, take bus route 11 towards 'Central Hillside.' After approximately 5 stops, get off at the East Michigan St & N 2nd Ave E stop. Once you exit the bus, Gichi-ode' Akiing will be directly in front of you at the intersection of N 2nd Ave E and East Michigan Street.

Biking
If you have access to a bike, you can take the Lakewalk path starting from the Leif Erikson Park. Follow the path along the shore of Lake Superior until you reach the end of the trail. From there, navigate up to East Michigan Street and head east until you reach N 2nd Ave E. Turn left and Gichi-ode' Akiing will be at the intersection.
