Walking
If you are starting from Canal Park, head east along the scenic waterfront path. This will take you along the Duluth Harbor, and you'll see many unique views of the lake. Follow the path until you reach Brighton Beach Rd. Turn right onto Brighton Beach Rd, and the Lakewalk entrance will be on your left. This is approximately a 30-minute walk.
Public Transit
From downtown Duluth, you can catch the DTA bus route 12, which heads towards Brighton Beach. Board the bus at any DTA bus stop and stay on until you reach the Brighton Beach stop. From there, walk a short distance to reach the Lakewalk entrance. The bus ride takes around 15-20 minutes.
Biking
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Canal Park. Start your ride heading east along the Lakewalk. Continue on the bike path until you reach Brighton Beach Rd. Turn right, and you will find the Lakewalk entrance on your left after a short ride.
