Walking
From the center of Grand Marais, head west on Wisconsin Street towards the lake. Continue straight until you reach Highway 61. Cross over at the crosswalk to the other side of the highway. Once you are safely across, continue walking west along Highway 61. You will see the Visit Cook County - Visitor Information Center at 116 W Hwy 61 on your left side. It is located near the intersection of Highway 61 and 1st Avenue West.

Biking
If you have a bicycle, start at the Grand Marais Harbor and head towards Wisconsin Street. Turn left on Wisconsin Street and continue until you reach Highway 61. Use the bike lane to cross over at the designated crosswalk. Once across, continue west along the bike lane on Highway 61. The Visit Cook County - Visitor Information Center at 116 W Hwy 61 will be on your left side, just before you reach 1st Avenue West.

Public Transportation
Check the local bus schedule for any routes that stop near Highway 61. If there is a stop near the Grand Marais city center, board the bus and ask the driver to let you know when you are near the Visit Cook County - Visitor Information Center. Get off at the closest stop and walk west along Highway 61. The center is at 116 W Hwy 61, just a short walk from the bus stop.
