Public Transit - Bus
From downtown Minneapolis, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Metro Transit bus route 10 heading northeast. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'East Hennepin Ave & 4th St NE' stop. From there, walk east along East Hennepin Ave for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Sibley St NE. Turn left onto Sibley St NE, and walk about 0.1 miles to reach Boom Island Park at 724 Sibley St NE.
Bicycle
If you're cycling, start from any central location in Minneapolis and make your way to the Midtown Greenway trail. Head east along the Greenway until you reach the Mississippi River. From there, follow the river trail north toward Boom Island Park. The park is located at 724 Sibley St NE, and there are bike racks available for locking up your bike upon arrival.
Walking
If you're walking from downtown Minneapolis, head north on Nicollet Mall until you reach Washington Ave. Cross over to the Riverfront area, and follow the river west until you reach the Stone Arch Bridge. Cross the bridge, and once on the other side, continue walking northeast along the river until you reach Boom Island Park at 724 Sibley St NE. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles and offers scenic views of the river and the city.
