Getting There

• Light Rail

  Start by getting to the nearest light rail station, which is the 'Nicollet Mall' station. From there, board the Blue Line heading towards the 'Mall of America'. Stay on the train until you reach the 'U.S. Bank Stadium' station. Transfer to the Green Line heading towards 'Target Field'. Get off the train at the 'East Bank' station. Upon exiting the station, head east on Washington Avenue SE until you reach SE Main Street. Turn left on SE Main Street and walk a few blocks until you see Father Hennepin Bluff Park on your left at 420 SE Main St.

• Bus

  Find the nearest bus stop and take bus number 2 or 3, both of which run frequently in Minneapolis. Board the bus heading towards 'University of Minnesota'. Get off at the 'Washington Ave SE & Oak St SE' stop. From there, walk east on Washington Avenue SE, then turn left on SE Main Street. Continue walking straight until you reach Father Hennepin Bluff Park, located at 420 SE Main St.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations throughout the city. Head towards the Riverfront Trail, which is accessible from various points in downtown. Follow the trail along the Mississippi River, which will lead you directly to Father Hennepin Bluff Park. The park is located at 420 SE Main St, and you can easily spot it as you approach the river.

• Walking

  If you are close to the East Bank area of the University of Minnesota, you can easily walk to Father Hennepin Bluff Park. Head east on Washington Avenue SE, then turn left on SE Main Street. Continue walking until you reach the park at 420 SE Main St. The walk is scenic and allows you to enjoy the views along the river.
