Walking
If you are in Northeast Minneapolis, start by heading southwest towards Central Minneapolis. Make your way to Washington Avenue NE, which is a major thoroughfare. Walk towards the riverfront, and continue on the path that leads towards the Stone Arch Bridge. Cross the bridge, and you will be able to see the St. Anthony Falls Visitor Center from there. The center is located at 1 Portland Ave, and you can easily access it from the bridge, which takes approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your starting point.

Biking
For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations around Northeast Minneapolis. Head towards Central Avenue NE and then take a left onto Washington Avenue SE. Follow this road until you reach the Stone Arch Bridge. Cross the bridge, and you'll find the St. Anthony Falls Visitor Center at 1 Portland Ave on the other side. The bike ride should take around 15-20 minutes.

Public Transportation (Metro Transit)
Take the Metro Transit bus from any point in Northeast Minneapolis. You can catch Bus Route 11 or Route 32 towards downtown Minneapolis. Get off at the Nicollet Mall stop and transfer to the light rail at the Target Field station. Take the light rail towards the Mall of America and get off at the next stop, which is the Government Plaza. From there, it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the St. Anthony Falls Visitor Center at 1 Portland Ave. Make sure to check the Metro Transit website for current schedules and fares, which may range from $2.00 to $3.00 for a one-way trip.
