Light Rail
If you are near the downtown area, head to the nearest light rail station, such as Nicollet Mall Station. Board the Blue Line heading towards the Mall of America. After about 10 minutes, disembark at the Warehouse District/Hennepin Avenue Station. From there, walk east on 2nd Street North until you reach Portland Avenue. Turn left and walk two blocks until you reach 100 Portland Ave, where the Stone Arch Bridge is located.
Bus
Find a nearby bus stop and take Metro Transit bus route 10, which runs through downtown Minneapolis. You can catch it on Nicollet Mall. Ride for about 10-15 minutes and get off at the 5th Avenue South & 1st Street South stop. From there, walk towards the Stone Arch Bridge by heading east on 1st Street South, crossing over the river, and then turning left onto Portland Avenue. The bridge will be ahead.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike share stations around Minneapolis. Start at a station near your location and head towards the riverfront. Follow the designated bike paths along the Mississippi River towards the Stone Arch Bridge. The bridge is accessible from the riverfront trails, and you'll find signage directing you to the bridge entrance.
Walking
If you are already in the downtown area, you can walk to the Stone Arch Bridge. Start at Nicollet Mall and head east towards the river. Continue walking until you reach 1st Avenue South, then turn left and walk north until you reach the riverfront. Follow the river until you see the Stone Arch Bridge. It’s a scenic walk and will take about 20 minutes.
