Car
If you are traveling by car within Voyageurs National Park, start from the Rainy Lake Visitor Center, located at 1 Rainbow Point, International Falls, MN 56649. Head south on MN-11 E for approximately 15 miles. Turn left onto County Road 23 and follow it for about 3 miles. You will see signs for Voyageurs Forest Overlook. The overlook is located at approximately 48.40769 latitude and -92.84013 longitude. There is no entrance fee to access the overlook.

Currently, Voyageurs National Park has limited public transportation options. If you are not driving, consider taking a bus to International Falls. From there, you may need to arrange a taxi or ride-share service to reach the Rainy Lake Visitor Center. Once at the Visitor Center, you can hike the trails leading to the Voyageurs Forest Overlook. Be prepared for a hike of about 3 miles, which may take 1-2 hours depending on your pace. Ensure you wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water.
