Driving
From Jackson, Wyoming, head north on US-191 N/US-26/US-89 for approximately 30 minutes. The Snake River Overlook will be on your left, about 9 miles north of Moose Junction and roughly halfway between Moose and Moran Junction. The parking lot is paved and easily accessible from the highway. There is no fee to park, but a valid Grand Teton National Park entrance pass is required. A 7-day vehicle pass costs $35. An annual America the Beautiful Pass costs $80 and covers entrance fees to all US National Park Sites.
Public Transport
While there is no direct public transportation to the Snake River Overlook, you can take the START Bus from Jackson to the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center in Moose during the summer months. From there, you would need to use a taxi, rideshare service, or arrange a tour to reach the overlook, which is approximately 15 minutes driving. Taxi or rideshare costs from Moose to the overlook can range from $30-$50.
