If you are in downtown Cape Girardeau, start at the Cape Girardeau Public Library located at 711 N Clark St. Head north on N Clark St for about 0.4 miles until you reach Broadway St. Turn right onto Broadway St and continue for about 0.6 miles. You will pass by various shops and restaurants. After crossing the intersection with N Main St, continue straight as Broadway St becomes N Mount Auburn Rd. After about 1 mile, you will see the entrance to Cape Woods Conservation Area on your right at 1348 N Mount Auburn Rd.

From the Cape Girardeau Transit Center located at 401 Independence St, take Bus Route 3 towards Cape Girardeau North. This route will take you along the main streets of Cape Girardeau.
