If you're starting from downtown Joplin, head to the nearest bus stop located at 4th and Main St. Catch the Carthage route (Route 2) heading towards Schifferdecker. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes, and get off at the Schifferdecker Ave stop. From there, walk south on Schifferdecker Ave for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Joplin History & Mineral Museum located at 504 S Schifferdecker Ave.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local shop in downtown Joplin. Head south on Main St, then turn left onto 7th St. Continue on 7th St until you reach Schifferdecker Ave. Turn right on Schifferdecker Ave and cycle for about a mile. The museum will be on your left at 504 S Schifferdecker Ave.

Exit the library and head south on Main St. At the intersection with 7th St, turn left and walk east until you reach Schifferdecker Ave. Turn right and continue walking south for about 15 minutes, and you will find the Joplin History & Mineral Museum at 504 S Schifferdecker Ave.
