If you're traveling by car within Northwest Missouri, take US-71 S or I-29 S towards St. Louis. Once you approach St. Louis, follow I-44 E and then take exit 40B for I-64 E toward Chicago. Continue on I-64 E and take exit 40A toward 14th St. Merge onto Convention Plaza, then turn left onto Chestnut St. The Soldiers Memorial Military Museum will be on your right at 1315 Chestnut St, St. Louis, MO 63103. Parking may be available at nearby lots; check for any fees.

For public transportation, start by taking a Greyhound or Amtrak bus/train from your location in Northwest Missouri to St. Louis. Once you arrive at the St. Louis bus terminal or train station, you can take the MetroLink light rail. Board the MetroLink towards Shrewsbury-Landsdowne I-44 and get off at the 8th & Pine station. From there, walk north on 8th St, turn left onto Chestnut St, and continue walking until you reach the Soldiers Memorial Military Museum at 1315 Chestnut St. MetroLink tickets may cost around $2.50 for a one-way trip.
