If you are in downtown St. Louis, you can take the MetroLink light rail system. Board the MetroLink train at any downtown station heading towards the 'Shrewsbury-Lansdowne' or 'Scott Air Force Base' direction. Disembark at the 'Union Station' stop. After exiting the train, follow the signs to the Union Station entrance. Once inside Union Station, the St. Louis Aquarium is located on the lower level, near the entrance to the Grand Hall.

To reach the St. Louis Aquarium by bus, check the MetroBus schedule for routes that service the Union Station area. Routes such as #70 (Grand) or #11 (Chippewa) will get you close. Board the bus at a nearby stop in downtown St. Louis, and ask the driver to alert you when you reach Union Station. Once you arrive, enter the station and head to the lower level to find the aquarium.
