Getting There

• Public Transportation

  Start at the Sedalia Amtrak Station located at 300 South Ohio Avenue. From there, take the Amtrak train to the nearest station that connects to a bus service. After arriving at the connecting station, look for a local bus service that heads towards Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site. You may need to check the local bus schedule for specific routes that service this area, as they may not run frequently. Once you arrive in the vicinity of Bothwell Lodge, follow the signs or ask a local for directions to 19349 Bothwell State Park Rd, Sedalia, MO 65301.

• Bicycle

  If you are comfortable cycling, start from the downtown area of Sedalia. Head east on W Main St toward S Ohio Ave. Continue onto E 16th St, then turn left onto S Limit Ave. Follow this road as it curves into Bothwell State Park Rd. Keep cycling until you reach the entrance of Bothwell Lodge State Historic Site at 19349 Bothwell State Park Rd. Note that the route may include some hilly areas, so be prepared for a moderate level of effort.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk and are staying in downtown Sedalia, begin at the intersection of W Main St and S Ohio Ave. Walk east on W Main St for about 1.5 miles until you reach S Limit Ave. Turn left on S Limit Ave and continue walking for another mile. At this point, you will see road signs pointing towards Bothwell Lodge. Keep walking on Bothwell State Park Rd until you reach the lodge located at 19349 Bothwell State Park Rd. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.
