Public Transit - MetroLink
If you're near a MetroLink station, board the Blue Line or the Red Line train heading towards the Arch-Laclede's Landing station. The Gateway Arch is just a short walk from the station. Once you arrive at the Arch-Laclede's Landing station, exit the train and follow the signs that direct you to the Arch. Walk east on Convention Plaza until you reach the Arch grounds.
Bus
Check the local bus schedule for routes that stop near the Gateway Arch. You can board any bus that heads towards Downtown St. Louis. If you are near the Civic Center Transit Center, you can catch several buses that will take you towards the Arch. Get off at the nearest stop to the Arch, which is usually at the corner of 4th Street and Convention Plaza. Walk north on 4th Street and you will see the Arch ahead.
Walking
If you are already in downtown St. Louis, you can easily walk to the Gateway Arch. Start at any central location, such as Citygarden or the Old Courthouse, and head towards the riverfront. Follow the signs pointing to the Gateway Arch, and walk along Convention Plaza. The Arch will be visible as you get closer, and you should be able to reach it in about 10-15 minutes depending on your starting point.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, St. Louis has bike lanes that lead to the Gateway Arch. From downtown, head toward the riverfront on the designated bike paths. There are bike racks available near the Arch for you to park your bicycle securely. The ride should take about 10-20 minutes, depending on your starting location.
