    To reach the Saint Louis Zoo, take the MetroLink light rail system. If you are near the Forest Park station, board the MetroLink train heading towards the Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 station. Stay on the train for about 4 stops until you reach the Forest Park-DeBaliviere station. From there, exit the station and walk south on DeBaliviere Avenue for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of the Saint Louis Zoo located at 1 Government Dr.

  • Bus

    You can also take the MetroBus to the Saint Louis Zoo. Find the nearest bus stop and take either the #90 (Hampton) or #11 (Chippewa) bus line. If you board the #90 bus, get off at the stop at the intersection of Hampton Ave and Shaw Blvd. Walk east on Shaw Blvd for about 5 minutes until you reach the main entrance of the zoo at 1 Government Dr. If you take the #11 bus, get off at the intersection of Lindell Blvd and DeBaliviere Ave, then walk north on DeBaliviere for about 10 minutes to arrive at the zoo.

    If you are staying in or around Forest Park, the Saint Louis Zoo is easily accessible by walking. Depending on your location in Forest Park, head towards the Government Drive entrance.
