The bus journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. From Călărași, take local minibus route 11 to Guranda. Once in Bălănești village, the hill is about a 30-minute walk from the village center. Follow the main road out of the village, looking for signs to Bălănești Hill. Bus tickets from Chișinău to Vulcăneşti cost $2–5. The local minibus from Călărași to Guranda also incurs a small fare.
