To reach Bălănești Hill via public transport from Chișinău, go to the Autogara Nord (central bus station). Look for buses or minibuses (marshrutkas) heading to Călărași or nearby villages. The bus journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. From Călărași, take local minibus route 11 to Guranda. Once in Bălănești village, the hill is about a 30-minute walk from the village center. Follow the main road out of the village, looking for signs to Bălănești Hill. Bus tickets from Chișinău to Vulcăneşti cost $2–5. The local minibus from Călărași to Guranda also incurs a small fare.

Driving from Chișinău to Bălănești Hill is about 74 km and takes around 1.5 hours. Expect to pay around $11–15 for fuel.
