Driving
If arriving by car, turn off Hwy R20 about 20km south of Rezina. Follow the sealed road through sunflower fields for 12.5km and look for the clearly marked turnoff to Tipova on the left. The monastery is 2.5km from here on a partially sealed road. Parking is available near the modern Orthodox church complex. Be aware that the road leading to the monastery can be narrow and winding, so drive with caution. There are no tolls on this route. Parking is free.
Public Transport
To reach Tipova Monastery via public transport, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Chisinau's North Bus Station to Tipova. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours. From the bus stop in Tipova, follow the signs towards the monastery, which is about a 20-minute walk. Check the latest bus schedules, as they may vary. A one-way ticket costs approximately 60 MDL.
Walking
After arriving in Tipova by bus, walk towards the monastery by following the main road. You will pass through the village, and the path is generally well-marked. The scenic route will lead you down towards the Dniester River, where the monastery is perched on the cliffs. It's about a 20-minute walk, so wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
