    If you are driving from Chișinău, take the E581 road towards Orhei. After about 50 km, follow the signs to Old Orhei. Upon reaching Butuceni, look for signs directing you to the Cave Monastery. There is a parking area available near the entrance. Be aware that you may need to pay a small fee for parking.

  • Public Transport

    To reach the Cave Monastery via public transport, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Chișinău to Orhei. These minibuses leave from the Central Bus Station and the journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once in Orhei, you will need to find a local marshrutka heading to Butuceni, which is a short ride away. The fare for the marshrutka is usually around 10-15 MDL. After arriving in Butuceni, follow the signs to the Cave Monastery which is within walking distance.
